Nikon 300mm f/2.8 G AF-S ED VR II
Very sharp and works great with both the1.4x TCII and 2x TCIII. VR is wonderful and up to 4 stops of extra handholdability. Even though it is rather heavy, it is still relatively hanholdable, but a monpod is required for extended usage.
