Nikon 35mm f/1.4 [AI-S]
This manual focus was Nikon's first multicoated lens back when it was introduced in 1969. It is constructed in the classic all-metal Nikon style to extremely high standards. Nikon's Close-Range-Correction (CRC) assures image quality at near focusing distances.
It suffers from coma and spherical aberrations that affects sharpness below f/4. Performance wide open is not impressive, but between f/4 and f/8, the lens is excellent.
