Ricoh 260P

Check availablity: eBay.

This flash, like the Ricoh Speedlite XR 300P, is designed to be used with the Ricoh XR-P. It was introduced in 1985.

When used with the Ricoh XR-P, it supports a number of special flash modes, including OTF TTL flash exposure control.

While TTL will not work, Ricoh Speedlite 260P will work fine as an auto-thyristor or manual flash on the other RK mount Ricoh SLRs.

One non-TTL auto aperture (f/5.6 at ISO 100).

Use with a modern DSLR is not recommended, as the voltage on the two Ricoh TTL dedicated signal pins may confuse or damage the camera's electronics. However, you may try to convert it to a generic flash by removing the two “extra” pins, leaving only the centre pin and edge connector.
