This is an auto thyristor flash with two automatic settings (f/2.8 and f/4 @ ISO 100), plus manual (1/1 only).
The flash carries the designation “multi-dedicated”, and there is a switch (SOMNCP) that let you select Standard, Olympus, Minolta, Nikon, Canon, or Pentax. However, this is not a TTL-flash and the “dedication” just makes the flash-ready lamp light up in the viewfinder of a compatible film camera.
It has a manual zoom head that let you set coverage to match a 35 mm lens (N), 50 mm lens (S) and 85 mm lens (T). The wide angle diffuser takes coverage to 28 mm.
Basic kit includes 3 color filters (red, green and blue) and a slip on wide angle diffuser.
Also sold as Black's DZ 80 and Miranda 700-CD.
