This legacy Canon flash is for all intents and purposes a generic flash unit when used on any DSLR. Its legacy Canon OTF TTL-mode is incompatible with E-TTL II. It may be used in manual mode (full power only). In some cases, you may have to isolate or remove the “extra” TTL control pins from the hot-foot to stop the camera from being confused by the legacy OTF TTL protocol.
